This project was a heartfelt transformation of a cherished second home for a wonderful grandmother whose greatest joy is spending time with her children and grandchildren. Designed as a serene retreat for family gatherings and quiet weekends, the living room, dining room, and bathroom were completely reimagined to reflect her love for nature, comfort, and connection.
Rooted in an earthy, organic palette, the design invites calm and balance the moment you step inside. Shades of green—her favorite color—became the soul of the home, grounding the space while adding a fresh, restorative energy. Textural fabrics, warm woods, and natural finishes were layered to create depth and warmth, making each room feel both sophisticated and deeply lived-in.
The living room encourages long conversations and cozy movie nights, while the dining area celebrates shared meals and laughter. In the bathroom, subtle luxury meets serenity through soft neutrals, tactile materials, and thoughtful details that transform daily rituals into moments of peace.
Every detail was chosen to support a lifestyle centered on family, comfort, and ease—creating a home that feels like an embrace, where every visit becomes a memory in the making.
Testimonial
“This home feels like me—peaceful, grounded, and full of love. Every room has such a calm energy, and the colors make me feel connected to nature. It’s my happy place now, where I can relax, host my family, and just be. The Space Design Collective team truly understood what I wanted, even beyond what I could describe.”
